Hey there — I’m Matt Thompson, the creator behind Ohio Roots Design.

By day, I’m a School Counselor and former teacher with over 10 years in education. I've spent many years as a baseball, soccer, and basketball coach.

Outside of school, I’m a husband to my high school sweetheart, Lindsay, and a proud dad to three amazing kids — Lola, Presley, and Banks. They’re my biggest inspiration (and the reason most of my design work happens after bedtime 😄).

What started as a small creative outlet has grown into Ohio Roots Design — a way to combine my love for education, community, and creativity. I design custom apparel and digital art for schools, fundraisers, local businesses, and families across Ohio.
